£4, four bloody pounds for such an amazing concealer. I always say this about makeup revolution but they are genuinely doing BITS! They are my favourite drugstore makeup brand to probably ever exist. I rate them so highly.
So, when they released this concealer, they released it with 18 shades, this wonderful drugstore brand pulled out 18 concealer shades that cost FOUR BLOOOODY POUNDS!! I cannot stress how amazing this is. I swear, Makeup Revolution deserve so much more recognition than they currently receive. So, they made their beautiful diverse campaign (I’ll try inserting a picture of all the shades if I can find a good one) and I was in love.

I went into my local Superdrug’s, it was sold out, went to the one on Market Street in Manchester, sold out, the one inside the Arndale, also sold out, went online, also sold out. This damn concealer was sold out everywhere. So I waited for about a month or so, and I finally found it in stock online. I had to go off images and watching other youtubers swatching the concealers to try get the right shade for myself. I ordered C10 and C11 which are for medium skin tones with a gold/beige undertone. I bought two because i was stuck between which would be closer so i bought both because you know, FOUR BLOODY POUNDS!!

As I’m typing this, I realise I should have swatched C11 for the pictures too instead of just C10. C10 matched my skin tone a lot more whereas C11 was a bit darker, and for concealer I prefer it to be either my skin tone or slightly lighter. I lowkey want to try C9 but let’s just work with what we have, because I have been using C10 for about a week now, and I am kind of in love with it. I have never been the type of person who conceals on the daily, but just because of how much i love this concealer, I am slowly becoming that person.
Anyway, the concealer is a liquid full coverage one and it’s amazing. I use a brush to spread and then a damp beauty sponge to blend it out, and oh my lord, it is truly amazing and easy to blend out. It is so easy to work with and it is super lightweight, if you know me or read other things that i have reviewed, you will know that i am a sucker for lightweight products. The saying ‘a little goes a long way’, really works wonders for this product, one little dollop of it on a spot or blemish, is enough to cover the stuff up. I have also been using it for my under eye incredibly dark circles too, I use it to brighten my under eyes since they are scarily dark and tells people that my sleeping pattern is truly horrific. It leaves a lovely matte finish, and doesn’t wrinkle which I am pleasantly surprised about, because it is a four pound concealer, i was expecting it to be patchy and stuff but it blew away all my expectations. I know a lot of people have been comparing it to Tarte’s shape tape concealer (£14) because of the similar consistency and the doe foot applicator, but I don’t own that concealer because they don’t sell it to the UK which is and but whatever, we aren’t salty. But, I think, having been a drugstore company, and having them be compared to a high street brand (I think it’s high street) like Tarte is amazing, I’ve said it before, but they are doing pure bits fam it blows my mind. I have heard they’re releasing a foundation too but I don’t know when that is happening (lol i won't be surprised if it’s already come out and I missed it).

Nevertheless, I am currently catching up with The Walking Dead because I've seen Chandler Rigg’s twitter (Carl) and I wanna see how it happens:(((( All in all, i bloody love this concealer and I really don’t think there's space to complain, it’s lovely packaging, the actual concealer is fab, and even if it was rubbish, it’s FOUR BLOODY POUNDS!! (I should proof read but I really can’t be bothered, so I am sorry for any mistakes). Stay safe and stay blessed my friends, I beg you do!
