Fenty Beauty Review

Fenty Beauty, the best makeup brand (in my opinion). I ventured out to Harvey Nichols Manchester, and bought the highlighter and the foundation.

The first thing I will be talking about is the ‘Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Long Wear Foundation,’ and I bought mine in the shade 300. Now, let me tell you that I usually cannot stand foundation. I hate it, I hate the feeling of it, the consistency of it and the way it sits on your face, I just generally dislike it a lot. However, I was taking a risk when I bought the foundation, I was hoping all the reviews I read about it being good, would be true. And I am here to tell you, it is the best. On my skin, it is full coverage and super-duper light. It literally feels like there is nothing on your face. I wore the foundation when I went to London, it lasted a 4 hour car drive there, 8 hours of socialising with other people, and then another 4 hour drive on the way back, and it still looked peng without a single touch up. I didn’t put powder on or use a brush to smoothen my face out again. I left it the same way I left it when I left my house and I returned with the same face. I didn’t feel any sweat on my face or anything so I’m assuming its sweat resistant which is amazing. It cost me £26 which is a really good price considering ‘Fenty Beauty’ would be classed as a high street brand. Normal high street foundations would cost you at least £30/40, but this one is only £26, furthermore, you would only need two pumps from it each time you use it, thus it would last you a long period of time. Also, can we take a minute to talk about the packaging, it is simple but it is so much at the same time, I have no idea how to explain but I do love it. The shade 300 has natural undertones which is good and matches my skin very well, when I was getting matched at the store, they tried 290 but I felt as though it didn’t suit my skin tone, so she then used 300, and I fell in love. People say when you’re getting married and you see the wedding dress you want, as soon as you spot ‘the one’, you know. That is how I felt when shade 300 was put on my skin. Cringe I know. Honestly, I really do recommend you all go and at least get matched and see if you like the feel of it, if so, buy it.

I bought the ‘Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter’ in the shade ‘Trophy Wife.’ This highlighter makes me glow like I have never glowed before. The consistency of it is very light weight, it’s like a cream highlight, but at the same time it is like a powder. Its honestly the most beautiful highlight ever, it is such a strong and vibrant finish on the skin. The best thing about it is, you can use it on a casual day out, but you can also wear it to an evening out (or a night out to all you drinkers out there) and it still looks amazing, regardless of how you wear it or the setting you wear it in. This single highlight costs £26 which yes, I know is the same price as the foundation. But it is damn worth it. Bottom line, Rihanna is doing absolute bits with Fenty Beauty.

That’s all I bought, but maybe I’ll buy more in the future and I will edit it in and I will let you all know if that happens, that’s it for this one. I have seen that she's releasing a holiday collection and then there are rumours about a skincare line, so you will definietly see Fenty back on my blog at some point. Make sure you go check Fenty Beauty out, stay blessed and stay safe my friends.
