Kiehl's Review :)

The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream was mentioned in last weeks blog where I mentioned that I’d probably be talking a little bit more about it, and that is what I am planning to do today. My first impressions of it, I thought it was just a good moisturiser but over time, it has become one of my all time faves. Now, this is definitely on the more expensive side when it comes to skincare that I review, it costs £24.50 for the small 50ml tub of cream, BUT you defo get your money's worth. My brother and I share this one, and we’ve had it for a few months now, and we are only just about half way through the tub, so it isn’t a scam ;)

Anyways, this cream genuinely does leave your skin feeling smooth, hydrated and supple. You know when you massage it into your skin and it just feels amazing and soft. It is a perfect moisturizer for dry skin and for winter, so this time of the year is the perfect time to buy it if your skin has started to dry out more than usual because of the weather and stuff. The cream has certain ingredients within it to help protect the skin when the weather is pretty tough, so whether it rains or snows, your skin will STILL be supple and soft.

Now, this does claim to be a 24hr moisturiser, but I genuinely don’t think there is such a thing as a 24hr moisturiser, foundation, concealer, anything. There is just no way that there is a product that will sit on your skin for such a long amount of time throughout the day. So, an example would be, that if I am out for a long amount of time and I’ve used this moisturizer and then a ‘24hr’ foundation, granted by the time we hit the 12 hour mark, it will have somewhat separated or disappeared and stuff. Perhaps you’ve tried 24hr products and it lasts 24hrs, but I feel it is a slight exaggeration, nonetheless, this cream is highkey one of my faves.
