2 Decades Old

Hi, hello, hi, it’s been a damn while hasn’t it? (I just checked, the last time i posted on here was the 14th Jan, so it has nearly been a month oh my god). Since then, I have turned 20 years old, issa bit ridiculous I know, but what can you do. It blows my mind that I’ve been alive for just over 2 decades now omds. So, I thought i'd share with you what i received from my lovely lovely friends and family for my birthday. (THIS POST IS GOING TO BE MAINLY PICTURES)

I'm going to split them into different categories, and i'll start with perfumes i think. The first one is this 'Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue' perfume/lotion gift set. This smells truly heavenly, it's a light floral kind of smell and i love it.

I have wanted this perfume for a long ol' time, and I was so gassed when my cousin gave it me. 'Vera Wang Embrace' in 'Periwinkle and Iris,' has such a different smell, like I've never smelt anything quite like it. It's sort of floral but also not at the same time.

The next one is the set, so above is the 'Vera Wang Embrace Periwinkle and Iris', but this one is all three of the 'Embrace' set. I'm not going to lie, I am yet to smell 'Green Tea and Pear Blossom,' but I have smelt 'Marigold and Gardenia' and oh my god, it is beautiful. The best thing about these is that it is so convenient, i can just drop it into my bag and i'm good to go. It's roll on too so I don't need to ever worry about anything spilling, so I am hellla excited to use this on a daily basis. Another great thing about this, is that all three are very different scents, they are all different to each other.

This 'Ted Baker Floral Fancies' is something that everyone needs in their lives. I love these perfumes, all so different from on another yet all three smell beautiful. My favourite is the blush pink one, it is a bit floral but also musky too which is interesting, but a good interesting.

The next set of stuffs is going to be makeup that I received and I will start off with a highlighter that I have wanted for sooooo bloody long oh my god. The 'Huda Beauty 3D Highlighting Palette.' Oh my dear lord, this is gorgeous and is worth every penny, I do recommend it but it is obviously very expensive (hence I never bought it for myself...). The highlight isn't powdery at all, it is kind of creamy and leaves a smooth finish on the skin. I wore this highlight yesterday, and it almost attracts the light and absorbs it and you become the light of the room. It is amazing, I am truly in love with it.

The 'Urban Decay Naked 3' palette is my first ever Urban Decay product to own and it is simply breathtaking. The shades inside are so me, they are such beautiful pink shades, but offers enough darker shades to do a nice smokey eye and stuff (ngl , i don't think i'll ever attempt a smokey eye, nor do i think i would suit it.) You get 5/6 shimmery shades which are hella pigmented AND AND AND you get a fab makeup brush with it which is amazing at blending!!

LOOK AT MY BOO BOO SHAWN MENDES THAT'S MY BOO!! My sister bless her soul bought me the 'Soph x Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette,' and she is very aware of ShaWn, so she stuck a few pics of him on the palette and i love it. It makes it so much more personal and sentimental i love it, i love my sister. This palette is actually amazing considering it's a drug store, and I thought it wasn't going to suit my shades but it does! My favourite combinations are the 2 bottom on the left (the pink and purple one) and the 3rd column (the gold and brown ones), oh my god, it is amazing and so pigmented and glowy i love it.

The last bit of makeup is the 'Real Techniques Eye Essentials' and the 'Fresh Face Favourites,' I feel like you can never heave enough eye brushes so I am so blessed to have gotten 2 of the same set. I am also glad I have the fresh face set too, it also comes with wedge sponges and I swear, it makes me want to buy the Laura Mercier powder so I can learn to bake and stuff.

The next bit is skincare stuff!!!!

To start this off, I'll be talking about 'The Body Shop British Rose' gift set. It comes with the fresh plumping mask and a gel toner. I haven't used the toner yet, but I did use the mask, and oh my days it leaves the skin feeling so hydrated, soft and supple. I put it on yesterday evening and my skin still feels really amazing and rejuvenated almost. The following picture is the a charcoal mask which I used before the British Rose one, and I feel like they're a great combination. I recommend highly.

'The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal' is AMAZING I LOVE IT! I used this before the British Rose, and as I mentioned, I feel like they work really great together. This mask leaves the skin feeling clean. That is the best way to put it, it felt so deeply cleansed and my skin looked pure and glowy. The mask when put on does make the skin feel tingly but in a good way, like it's almost like you can FEEEEL the skin getting cleaned, I recommend this also, pls buy them both n lemme know how you find it.

This 'L'Oreal Pure Clay Purity Wash' is amazing. It thoroughly cleanses the skin and I love it. I've never used a face wash by them, and I'm hella impressed.

I've never heard of this particular brand, but when I received these masks, i was very excited, one of my greatest pleasures in life are face masks, so when my friend gave me these, I loved it, out of them all, i have only used the cucumber gel eye patches and it is amazing. I love eye patch masks to de-puff the dark circles and stuff, i love it. I am so excited to use the lip masks too. I haven't ever tried a lip mask, so I will keep you all updated on that (keep your eyes peeled on my Instagram init).

The rest of the items I don't know how to categorise, so this is everything else. This set came in a huge box and the most excited thing is the bubble heaven thing and I can't wait to use it. The yellow coloured things are a beautiful citrus smell-y stuffs, i love it. I can't wait to use it all.

Is it truly a birthday without something from Lush?? I didn't open this from the packaging until I was taking these pictures and holy hell was I surprised at the GLITTER!! I love it, this 'Sunnyside Bubble Bar' so heavenly. It smells gorgeous, almost citrus-y, but I am just very excited by the glitter, I can't wait to use this, but i'm not going to lie, I don't know when I'm going to actually have a bath, I bloody hope it is soon. 'NSPA' is a fab fab brand that is very underrated, i opened this and smelt their body mist and oh my god it smells amazing, it is proper raspberry. All of them smell exactly how you'd imagine it. They are so fruity, it's satisfying.

Candles are a love of mine I won't ever stop loving. I also love that my friends encourage this obsession of mine, I'm yet to light this, but I am well excited to do so, I can imagine it smells exactly how I imagine, if it doesn't actually smell of love hearts, i'm gonna be disappointed.

Here's another candle and it's CACTUS SHAPED. It's almond and coconut scented and it is amazing, it's so big as well oh my god, i love it. It is sat beautifully on my drawer top looking all pretty i love it. I'm in love with it.

My friend said my dressing table top looks very bare so she bought me this succulent glass terrarium AND I LOVE ITTTTTTT!!! It's sat on my drawer top near my cactus candle and it looks adorable i love it so much, i feel so blessed.

These notebooks are the cutest bloody things i have ever set my eyes on. They're small little notebooks, and i don't know about you, but I feel like you can never have too many notebooks. There is always a need for more and more notebooks. Once my cactus notebook I currently use for my blog ideas, I'm going to use the 'Be Happy' one for blog ideas.

This sums me up completely. I am literally (especially at this moment in time) SOOOO DAMN BUSY! I have uni, in which i have a stupid amount of deadlines to meet, i have two different placements with two different set of tasks to complete and plan for, i have my blog to upkeep, i have my physical health to consider, my mental health, a social life, my TV shows, idk how to live omds so much but its calm, we can do this.

ANYWAYS I THINK THIS IS THE LONGEST POST EVER I HAVE BEEN WRITING THIS FOR ABOUT 2 AND A HALF HOURS (but i am watching scandal too hahahhaaha). I am back guys, i plan to post ever Sunday (but i wont promise it), stay safe and stay blessed my friends!
