Gift Guide/Secret Santa Help

This is as festive as my blog will become, I thought I would put everything that I think is a good deal onto one blog post to help you out if you’re shopping for secret santa or something like that! (soz) During this time of the year, Boots often do a 3 for 2 deal (they did it last year and this year, hopefully they do it next year too). Within this 3 for 2 deal, there are such good stuffs but i’m going to pick out 3 or 4 main ones, and I’ll let you all have a proper look on their website for others. The ones i’m going to mention, I have bought for my friends (or myself). So the brand ‘Sleek Makeup’ do a mini ‘matte me’ and ‘matte me metallic’ with 4 of said minis in a box. In the picture below, you can see that I bought some for myself and I did gift one to my friend for secret santa which was really good. They contain colours that match most people and they aren’t all the same, so within one you would get a nude colour, a red-ish toned, a vampy sort of colour and a pink one, so you have a nice array of shades to choose from. This costs £6 per box.

Next, Boots also have Ted Baker mini perfumes that are just gorgeous, I bought one for my friends birthday as a little extra and the packaging is honestly the cutest, I don’t have a picture but I will add a screenshot of it from the website! They also have a lotion from that collection, and they cost £3 each which is really good. With perfumes, you can never tell whether they truly like it or not, so I feel like if you give them a mini version, they can then determine whether they truly want it or not. I don’t know that doesn’t make sense.

This last one I’m not sure if it’s a part of the 3 for 2 deal, but I think it’s a good set kind of thing to buy somebody. It’s a Jack Wills trio body spray which costs £8 which is pretty amazing. It’s a perfect little gift for secret santa or as an extra thing as a present in general. All the products I’ve mentioned are all in boxes, which i feel is a necessity for gifts because it’s SOOOO much easier to wrap gifts when they’re big and rectangular or square, it’s just so simple as opposed to odd shapes. 

Another product is Nail Inc.’s ‘Inc.Redible Jelly Shot Lip Quencher,’ this costs £8 from Boots and comes in 4 shades. The main reason I like this if i’m being honest is the little flower inside and it acts more as a lip tint rather than just a lip balm kind of thing. It hydrated your lips but also leaves it looking a little pink if you picked the pink one. 

A final product from Boots isn’t part of the deals or anything and it is a perfume which is kind of contradicting the point I made above:/. I went to Boots and had a root around their perfumes and found the Vera Wang Embrace perfume, there are three different ones, but my favourite has to be the Periwinkle and Iris one which costs £25. It smells so good and the packaging of the bottle is so beautifully simple. As much I love extravagant things, it’s so nice to see simple designs sometimes too. It looks really elegant. 

The next store I’ve been looking at for gifts is Superdrugs. The brand ‘Revolution Makeup’ are doing the most amazing gift boxes that I need to buy just for the sake of buying it. The 2 that i’ve seen in person are the Pro Amplified Strobe and Highlighting Palette and the Pro Amplified Eyeshadow Palette. These gift boxes are amazing because they are, as in the name, AMPLIFIED, I have never seen such a huge highlighting palette in my life AND it only costs £15!!!!!!! It is honestly amazing I love it. I’m going to leave the screenshots of them down below so you can also revel in the magnificence of it. Revolution are honestly doing bits and they’re one of my favourite drugstore makeup brands. (update: whilst looking for them on Superdrugs website I’ve seen that there are loads of other pro amplified stuff including contour kits and things so make sure you check them out as well!)
