Cure for PROCRASTINATION?

THERE ISN'T ONE!!!

Procrastinating in my opinion, is inevitable and there is not much you can do at all to get rid of it. It is a pure mentality and the way that your work ethic is.

Personally, I procrastinate about the smallest, most pathetic situations and it is ridiculous. Like, i just think to myself, come on, just go and do it, but i physically cannot be bothered to attempt to do it. I do wonder whether it is just because I am super lazy or if there is an actual reasoning behind it. I don't have a clue but i genuinely don't think there is a way to cure or solve it.

People always say, in order to stop procrastinating all you need to do is stop thinking about it and start doing it, but mentally its hard to comprehend, how do i mentally and then physically stop thinking about something and force myself to get work done? I come home from uni or work, eat, open my laptop and notebook, do 5 mins of work, then get distracted by YouTube, or TV, or twitter on my phone (or anything to be honest, I have in the past stared at my cork board for 20 minutes just enjoying the view:/).

Once you begin procrastinating, it is SO difficult to stop.

You probably clicked on this post in hopes that I have a cure or tips to help you with procrastingating but I'm not going to lie, I don't think there is a way around it. I used to Google for tips, and watch videos but surely that is procrastinating in itself no?

Everyone is different and no one way would work for everyone, so I think we should all embrace our procrdasrination. To be honest, I always put things off, get distracted, leave important things til the end, but SOMETIMES leaving an essya the night before deadline submission, you might get better work done. I prefer to work under pressure and I feel like my work end products come out a lot better when it is done under pressure. But, may i reiterate that everyone is different and there is no one way to get round it.

We just have to wait for ourselves to refocus at a later time. Add to the procrastinating and go make a cuppa tea and refocus your attention back to the work. It probably won't help, but nobody can help with your own work ethics I guess.

This post is an absolute shambles oh my god.
